ResumeCoach offers a couple different pricing plans to suit your needs.

Our 14 Day Full-Access plan lets you create and download unlimited resumes and cover letters using our professional templates and AI-powered tools.

After the two-week period, your plan automatically renews. You’ll maintain full access to our tools, so you can keep making personalized resumes that stand out from the crowd.

You can cancel anytime, quickly and hassle-free.

We also offer a basic plan for free so you can test out ResumeCoach’s resume builder, though some of its features will only be available in the premium plan.

Upgrading is simple. Once you’ve logged into your user dashboard, simply click the “Upgrade Now” button in the top right corner. This will take you to the payment screen.

To cancel your ResumeCoach subscription, log into your account and go to your account settings. You’ll find the link to unsubscribe in the “Manage my account” section.

If you decide to unsubscribe from ResumeCoach, you’ll still be able to view your resumes in your profile. However, you’ll no longer be able to download them. 

If at any time you need to edit and download a new or existing resume, you can easily re-subscribe through your profile page.

If you wish to completely remove yourself from the ResumeCoach resume builder, you can email us at contact@resumecoach.com. Simply explain that you want your account deleted and provide your associated account email address.

In most cases, the payment transaction will appear on the bank statement under the identifier ‘Resumecoach. This identifier may vary due to several factors, such as business considerations, purchased product, transaction origin and destination, payment method, etc.

Examples of identifiers that may appear include:

• RESUMECOACH 8666700453

Instead of wasting time starting from scratch, our builder allows you to easily duplicate your existing resume and adapt it for a new position. 

To do this, go to the Documents section of your dashboard, and click on the 3 dots underneath the resume you want to make a copy of. Click “Duplicate”, and then edit this new version as much or as little as you want. 

You can make unlimited resumes when you upgrade to full access to ResumeCoach.

Transferable skills are essential to include on a resume. They’re especially useful for student, first-job or career change resumes. 

Transferable skills are simply skills that you have obtained through any activity, professional or otherwise. This could include extracurriculars, part-time work, sports or social clubs etc.

These skills can be transferred to the workplace, and you can relate them to the job you’re applying for on your resume.

Keywords are the principal words used to describe the role in a job posting.

Many agencies and recruiters use applicant tracking systems to weed out any inappropriate candidates. This software scans resumes and discards any that do not include the keywords from the posting.

This is why it’s so important to include them in various sections of your resume, including the summary, work history descriptions and skills sections. It’s also advisable to use synonyms.

Although it is not obligatory to have several versions of your resume, it’s recommended. You should adapt your resume each time you apply for a new position.

It’s best to include only your most relevant experience from the past 15 years. HR and other recruiting executives spend an average of only 6 seconds reviewing a resume. 

The longer and denser the resume, the less likely they are to dedicate more time to it.

It’s also a good idea to include more information regarding your most recent experience and less for the older roles.

If you’ve been absent from the workforce for a certain period of time, it’s advisable to use a functional or combination resume instead of the classic chronological resume format. 

These two formats emphasize skills and experience as opposed to highlighting a working timeline.

If you have been out of the workforce for any reason, be prepared to explain these absences in a cover letter or interview. Most prospective employers will want to know why you were not working.

A typical resume structure includes a list of your work experience in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent. 

For each position, include the employer’s name, job title, and start and end dates. Use a consistent format when adding dates, like Month, Year – Month, Year.

Under each role, add 3–5 bullet points describing your main tasks, achievements, or projects. Focus on quantifiable results, such as improvements you made, or goals met. These show your impact and prove you’re the right fit for the job.
